Nuestros ingenieros

At SimIA Lab, we believe in collaborative innovation.

For this reason, for years we have welcomed students from:

Biomedical Engineering, Robotics, and Electronics at the University of Alicante, thanks to a collaboration agreement that allows us to integrate young, multidisciplinary talent into our clinical and healthcare environment.

How do we do it?

Our students rotate through our laboratory with a clear objective: to gain first-hand insight into how a hospital works through clinical simulation.

During their stay, they actively participate in the development of technological solutions based on real needs identified by our healthcare professionals.

Through this collaboration, we promote:

  • The transfer of knowledge between engineering and medicine.
  • The creation of functional prototypes adapted to the clinical environment.
  • The training of future professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare system.

What is the result?

Many of these developments become final degree or master’s projects, and some of them have been published in our scientific journal, Clinical Sim Journal, where you can explore the results and practical applications of their work.

Are you an engineering student and would you like to be part of our team?

If you study at another university and are passionate about technology applied to healthcare, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us!

At SimIA Lab, we are always open to new collaborations that enrich our innovation ecosystem.

We want to meet you, hear your ideas, and help you transform the healthcare environment from within.
