The ISABIAL Pathological Anatomy Platform provides diagnostic information to the different areas of the hospital service, studying the effects that disease produces in the body’s organs.

  • Methodological consulting in Pathological Anatomy.
  • Basic procedures (fixation, processing, and paraffin embedding).
  • Histological sections from paraffin blocks and TMA.
  • Construction of tissue microarray (TMA).
  • Histochemical stains (Hematoxylin–Eosin, Trichrome…).
  • Automated immunohistochemical staining (see AC catalog).
  • Fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) staining (see probe catalog).
  • Molecular pathology (nucleic acid extraction, mutation analysis).
  • Interpretation by a Pathology Specialist. This service is offered for projects that do not include a pathologist in the research team.
