Open Days was created in 2022 with the commitment to disseminate the scientific and biomedical knowledge generated at ISABIAL and to bring it closer to the public. Its aim is to educate, spark scientific vocations, inspire new generations of researchers and healthcare professionals, and foster citizens who are aware of the important role that science plays in our society.
What is OPEN DAYS?
SABIAL opens the doors of science and of health and biomedical research to the entire Alicante community. It is an open event designed to promote the exchange of knowledge in the healthcare field, bringing together clinical professionals, biomedical researchers, educational centres, patient groups, and the general public.
Among the main activities are the workshops offered by ISABIAL’s research support platforms and units to promote scientific education; keynote lectures by health experts; talks by science communicators; health‑education sessions; and exhibitions.
We want you to discover first-hand the incredible work carried out at our research institute and—who knows—maybe even spark a new passion for science within you.
The 5th Edition of the Open Days will take place on September 25, 2026.
