Alicante (11.11.24). The Alicante Institute for Health and Biomedical Research (ISABIAL) has received a broad delegation from the board of directors of the Alicante Medical Association (COMA), led by its president, Hermann Schwarz.
The representatives of the Alicante Medical Association were welcomed by ISABIAL’s management team, led by its scientific director, Cristina Alenda. The managing director of the Alicante–General Hospital Health Department, Francisco Soriano, was also present.
The meeting served as an initial contact for both organisations to collaborate on various initiatives aimed at supporting the excellence in health research carried out in the province of Alicante.
Also attending on behalf of the Alicante Medical Association (COMA) were the First Vice‑President, Ana Segura; the Second Vice‑President, Diego Torrús; the Representative for Teaching Physicians at the Faculty of Medicine, Fernando Bornay; and the COMA Secretary‑General, José Manuel Peris.
After holding a meeting, the attendees visited the facilities of the Alicante Simulation and Innovation Laboratory (SimIA) and the Research Support Laboratory (LAI).
