The UMH 25th Anniversary Sports Gala Honors ISABIAL
The University Recognizes the Alicante Institute for Health and Biomedical Research for Its Contribution to Knowledge Transfer to Society
Alicante (08.02.23). The Miguel Hernández University (UMH) held its 25th Anniversary Sports Gala on February 1. During the ceremony, a total of 14 awards were presented to various entities and individuals linked to sports and the University.
The Alicante Institute for Health and Biomedical Research (ISABIAL) received one of the awards.
Specifically, during the ceremony, the UMH Sports Research Centre (CID) was honored, and the recognition included three distinctions for the “Generation”, “Transmission” and “Transfer” of knowledge to society.
ISABIAL received the distinction for the “Transfer” of knowledge to society, in recognition of its collaboration with the UMH Sports Research Centre (CID).
ISABIAL’s Deputy Scientific Director, Cristina Alenda, accepted the distinction together with Eduardo Cervelló, founding director of the CID and current director of the UMH Department of Sports Sciences, and Manuel Moya, director of the UMH Master’s Degree in Sports Performance and Health. Both were recognized in this category for the “Generation” and “Transmission” of knowledge to society.
