“In line with Law 14/2011 on Science, Technology and Innovation, and Organic Law 3/2007 on the effective equality of women and men, as well as with the European frameworks of Horizon Europe (2021–2027), ISABIAL reinforces its commitment to integrating the gender perspective across all phases of the research process. In this context, a project has been launched—promoted and funded by the Regional Ministry of Health through the Directorate‑General for Research and Innovation—with the aim of advancing towards more equitable, higher‑quality health research aligned with the values of excellence, inclusion, and responsible innovation.”
As the final part of the project, the “Presentation of Deliverables” conference has been organized, featuring research ideas that have rigorously applied the perspective of sex (biological) and gender (social) differences in their studies, contributing to more inclusive, precise, and socially relevant science, which influences the best possible professional practices, making them more efficient and equitable within the environment of the Doctor Balmis General University Hospital.
