Photographic exhibition and series of activities on Chagas disease

Activity dates:
- October 1, 6, 13, and 22 from 16:30 to 19:30 hours (activities aimed at patients, citizens, health sciences students, and healthcare professionals)
- October 20 and 27 from 16:30 to 19:30 hours; October 30 from 13:00 to 15:00; November 3 and 10 from 16:30 to 18:00 hours (activities aimed at healthcare professionals and health sciences students)
Format: In person. After each activity, a guided visit to the exhibition will take place.
Free registration, with the possibility of attending one, several, or all activities.
Dr. Balmis General University Hospital will host the photographic exhibition titled “The teacher without fear: a story of Chagas” from October 1 to December 15, which will be accompanied by a series of activities on Chagas disease, including audiovisual screenings, expert lectures, and round tables, among others.
The exhibition brings together images and testimonies of people in the Paraguayan Chaco related to Chagas disease, within the framework of the project “Strengthening the Ministry of Health of Paraguay in the global fight against Chagas disease through the creation of a network of protocolized care centers of the National Health System,” led by the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare of Paraguay.
