Advise and support research groups in the management, security, and storage of the data obtained in their research.

Head of the IT Department

• Coordinate the activity of the group members
• Advise on the development and implementation of IT systems, both existing ones and those required to meet ISABIAL’s emerging needs.

• Support for Teaching, Research, Innovation, and Quality at ISABIAL within the Dr. Balmis Alicante General Hospital Department, with the aim of achieving maximum effectiveness and efficiency in the development of technological tasks.
• Collaboration with ISABIAL in the implementation of research projects at the technological level.
• Coordination between ISABIAL and the Hospital’s IT Unit regarding the implementation of software and hardware systems required for ISABIAL’s research activity.
• Planning of tasks for the maintenance of the dedicated server hosting ISABIAL’s entire software infrastructure, including the website, Moodle training platform, REDCap, mail server, databases, etc.
• Coordination in the development of ad-hoc applications or those complementary to existing ones.

ISABIAL IT Engineer

• Adaptation of the ISABIAL website to be responsive on both computers and mobile devices by defining CSS stylesheets.
• Redesign of several website sections to unify styles (typography, sizes, colors, etc.).
• Development of PHP functions to access Fundanet API information using REST architecture
• Administration of the online training platform (creating courses, structuring material, registering users, and automating certificates).
• Management of ISABIAL email accounts.
• Maintenance and backup of the virtual server.
• Configuration of the mass email delivery service.
• Support in the development and configuration of the audiovisual systems used by ISABIAL.
• Soporte de incidencias tanto de software como de hardware, realizando el parte a la Unidad de Informática del Hospital caso de ser necesario.
